Labour Bureau imparts following training in the field of labour and price statistics to:

• Employees of the primary units engaged in the filling up of voluntary/statutory returns industrially important places in the Northern Region of the country comprised of Bihar, Chandigarh, Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab and U.P. in collaboration with their respective State Governments as well as the Chambers of Commerce.
• State government employees engaged in the compilation of Labour statistics with a view to improve the quality and timeliness in the flow of statistical data. The Bureau has so far conducted 13 training courses (upto 31.07.2007) in which officers of different State Governments/Union Territories and Central Government were imparted training. 
• Officers/officials of the State governments working as Price supervisors/collectors in Price Collection and Index compilation.
• Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service probationers. 
• Organizes specialization programs for the foreign participants of regular courses in statistics of International Statistical Education Centre in ISI, Calcutta.
• Junior Certificate Course for officers deputed by the Central Statistical Organization
